about

For this project, I modeled and animated the KO II entirely in Cinema 4D and Octane, breaking the sampler down into its individual components and reconstructing it through an exploded-view animation. The project focuses on the distinct visual language of the device—from its grid of tactile controls and graphic interface elements to its layered construction and playful industrial details. By separating each component and giving it space to move independently, the animation turns the product’s internal structure into the main visual narrative while retaining the simplicity and character of Teenage Engineering’s design language.
